IPhone 3GS connection problems

Currently use an iPhone 3 with AT&T prepaid sim for over a year now, with no problem. Bought an iPhone 3GS put the sim in. Searches and searches and no signal. Then it'll connect to AT&T for a couple of minutes then go back to searching again. It is unlocked. Should it be jail broken also? It's running on the latest update also. Any ideas before I resell it? I've also tried the network reset.

Your best bet is to get rid of that thing and get a more up-to-date one, like the IPhone 4 or 4S. Apple barely makes things for this phone, so it might be hard for you to get the help you need with your phone. Hope this helped!

  • Wi-Fi connection problems on iPhone 3GS? So I'm just after getting an iPhone 3GS off a friend. When I connected the phone to my house Wi-Fi there was a strong connection all around the house and outside. Today I dropped my phone and since then I can only get a Wi-Fi signal when I'm in the same room as the Wi-Fi box, as soon as I leave the room I lose the Wi-Fi signal.
