IPhone 3GS unlocked for tmobile, no data plan?
I want to get an iPhone and just us Wi-Fi no data can I turn that off, I think I can. Will tmobile charge me for data? Should I contact them? And no I don't want an iPod touch and basic cell phone. Will this work I need a 100% sure answers cause I can't afford the data plan.
Probably, I have an android phone with no data plane, using the internet only though Wi-Fi. I just moved my SIM from my old phone, so good so far. Call their customer service to be sure.
- Will an unlocked iphone 4S work for tmobile if it isn't factory unlocked? I want to get an iPhone 4S and my friend has the iPhone 4 unlocked but i'm worried that if i get it non-factory unlocked it won't work. My uncle tried to do it a couple of months ago and apple said that if it was factory unlocked every time the phone shut off or died it would reset. I was just wondering if the same thing would happen if it wasn't factory unlocked? So if I get it unlocked everytime it will shut off it will reset? That is what i'm worried about.
- Unlocked iPhone 3gs on Virgin plan? Since I already have an iPhone 3gs and don't wanna pay for a new phone just to get a no contract plan, can I unlock my iPhone so it will run on Virgin?
- Mms on iphone 4 on tmobile without data plan? I have an iphone 4, that is factory unlocked, not jail broken. It is on tmobile and I have unlimited talk and text but no data plan. I'm usually around Wi-Fi. How do i make the MMS work, all the time? With or without internet access.
- Is it cheaper to get a new iPhone on a plan or buy it unlocked and add a cheap plan? I can either buy the phone for $250 and pay a monthly $80 plan with data for 2 years or purchase the unlocked phone $800 and pay $30 - $50 a month - I might not get data but it wouldn't be a big deal to me, I'm just trying to find a deal thats not ridiculously expensive cause I can't really afford too too much right now. Which would be better?
