IPhone 4 has a black screen, but back light is still on? Is it water damage? HOME FIX Please?
My iPhone isn't even a year old, i use it too much. Now my phone was acting up throughout the day (freezing and taking a long time to even open something). So whilst i was studying, i left it on charge in the light, so when i was checking something it froze again and so i just left it, and now it just shows the back light.
I've tried pressing the home/power/sound button all at the same time and nothing works, even when i plug it into my laptop it doesn't recognize the device. My brother says it might be overheated, but IIm not sure. Also the closest apple store is two and a half hours away and will be extortionately expensive so that's not an option for me.
You could wait until the battery dies and then plug it back up and see if it turns back on. If that doesn't work, it sounds like your iPhone is probably broken.
Your gonna have to let battery die out. My brothers girlfriend had that same issue when she pulled iphone off charger, i fixed it by taking off back plate and diconnecting battery and reconnecting it but you need tools to do so.
- Spilled water on my iphone 4 the screen is completely black but everything else still works? I can answer phone calls and unlock my phone by memory of were everythings at. - Iphone water indicators not pink, still possible water damage? Hypothetically, if you got your iphone 4s wet, but the water indicators are not triggered at all, is it still possible the phone has water damage on the inside that apple would find if they took it apart?
