Iphone 4: my home button is stuck down
My home button is completly stuck down, i can't press it at all because nothing happpens. I heard a drop of baby oil would help, or oil. But could it be vegetable oil? Any other suggestions?
NO! Take it into the store - they can pop this back up, unless you have already done something nasty to it. Chances are, it is dirt, grit, etc. Electronics do not like liquids - period.
- Stuck iPhone 4 lock button! Stuck/Stripped screws Okay so, I've had this stupid panda case on my phone and it jammed my lock button. It still works if you push super hard from the side, but no clicking sound. I saw how to fix it by opening my phone up but the screws won't come out no matter what! I tried a screwdriver alone, with duct tape, rubber band, double sided tape, everything! I don't have a warranty on my phone, and I'm looking for a super inexpensive (>$5) way to fix it, any ideas?
- Power button on iPhone 4s stuck down? My iPhone power button is suddenly stuck in the down position and I can barely even get it to work even when pressing down really hard. It is a Verizon phone, I've only had it for 6 months and i have insurance on it. If I take it to Verizon will they just replace it if they can't fix it or will they tell me to take it to an apple store?
- My iphone home button not working? I'm stuck in settings menu? I was deleting my unsed apps and it got stuck on the settings screen. I can mess with all settings just not exit settings. What do I do? I can't turn off my phone I've tried
- Is there an iPhone app to go to the home screen? My Home button isn't working well? IIm afraid my home button will completely stop working soon enough, and i don't currently have money to replace it. I really only need the home function, but it would be really nice if it also had a screenshot function (because screenshots need the home + lock combo) Edit: If it makes any difference, my phone is an iPhone 3GS (old, lol) and has iOS 6.1.6.
