IPhone 4 on Verizon with no SIM card tray?
My friend gave me her iPhone 4 and it still has service, I want to take the service off but I don't know how without them thinking I stole the phone? I heard about the iPhone 4 having a sim try on the right side or the top but this iPhone has no sim tray? What do I do! I've been trying to figure out if there's a SIM card in the inside of the back of the phone is there? And I really need help on this people keep texting her phone and she moved so I can't contact her in anyway?
The Verizon iPhone 4 does not use a SIM card. It is CDMA only which means the ESN # (basically the serial number for the phone) is hard coded into the phone. The only way you can remove service and transfer it to your account on Verizon is to have your friend remove service from the phone and then you activate it right after. It is probably best to do the switch in a Verizon store if possible.
The Verizon iPhone 4 has no SIM tray because Verizon is a CDMA network which doesn't use SIM cards.
I don't see how your friend moving all of a sudden means you can't contact her. You'd have to get contact with her somehow & have her have the phone deactivated or something by a local Verizon or you would have to do the same with some sort of written statement stating that.

On my iphone 4 from verizon (CDMA) there's no sim tray, I've been wanting to change the middle bezel from the regular brushed chrome to an all black mid frame. All the mid frames I have found all have the sim tray but my phone doesn't have one and I don't get why. I need info on why my phone has no tray or where to get a black mid frame that doesn't have a sim tray slot.
