IPhone 4 won't play USB port in car?
I bought a new car stereo with a USB port and my phone won't play it says error. Phone is running iOS 6.
Iphones usually have a very specific data stream cable you have to use not just a standard usb port… Look at your brand/model head unit see if they offer ipod/iphone datta cable/port
Check the manufacturer website and see if there's a firmware update for the radio. Many of the recent radios out on the market right now were designed for iOS5 and not iOS6.So since there's a new operating system on the iPhone the radio is going to need updates to make it compatible again.
- Pandora won't play through car speakers via USB? I currently drive a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu LT and I usually play Pandora on my iPhone via the USB out which is included in the sound systems inside the Malibu models. For a while everything played perfectly, but not it does not. When I plug it in, my car recognizes that it is plugged in and the name of the Artist and song appear on the sound system like normal. However, it only plays through the speakers on my phone. What is the problem? Should I get a different connection other than USB?
- My computer USB port won't recognize my iPod but it recognizes my iPhone? Hi! Ok so I have a dell 15' laptop that's barely a year old and my USB port will accept my iPhone and flash drives, but not my iPod classic. I know for sure it's not my iPod since it was recognized on my moms computer and its not the cord because I've tried several different iPod cords… It doesn't seem to recognize my moms iphone 4 either! So if anyone knows how to fix it please please please help!
- My car head unit charges via USB but won't play music? I bought a Dual XDM260 head unit for my 2000 Chrysler LHS. When i plug my iPhone 5 in via USB it charges and the USB mode pops up then quickly changes to auxiliary. The manual says that the unit is capable of doing such a thing but for some reason won't. Is there anything I can do?
- JVC car receiver won't play iphone music through usb? I bought a jvc detachable face receiver for my truck and it will not play any of my music. It shows the track, the album artwork and the duration but it WLL NOT make a sound. Is there something i need to change on the settings? ( I have an iphone 5 but I've tried it with an iphone 4 and an iPod)
