Iphone 4S Activation, No Sim
So I just bought an Iphone 4s (Outright, No Sim/Contract).
Tried to Activate it, but I don't have a Sim Card. I do but These New Iphones require Micro Sims.
So i have got an iphone 4s with no sim or no plan/contract. Is it going to be hard to get my Iphone to work?
I wanted to get a Prepaid Plan (Telstra), like I did with my old Phone Samsung Galaxy 5.
Is a Micro Sim all I need for my Iphone, or do I need more then that.
Please Help.

Yeahp. Just cut your Sim up to become a microsim (look this up first or let someone do it for you). You should have no problems after putting the sim in, as the phone is unlocked.
Even if it is a factory unlocked phone it still needs a SIM card to activate.
All you need is a Micro SIM. You can just take it to the store where you have your prepaid service, and they will cut the SIM card for you, to make it a Micro SIM. Or they'll just give you a new Micro SIM for the phone, even if it's prepaid, and it should be free or less than $10.
A microSIM is required if you want to activate the iPhone, can't do it without the SIM. You can just trim your present SIM or you can get a cheap SIM cutter and have it trimmed to microSIM.
- Straighttalk iPhone SIM activation for already Straighttalk activated phone? It says I need a $45 service plan card to activate the SIM card, but is there a way to do it without? My phone has $45 service plan active right now, my SIM card is just malfunctioning, so I need a new one. Or do I have to do it when I refill, no other option?

I'm currently with cricket and my sim card reads as "SIM NOT SUPPORTED" is there any way to bypass this screen? I recently factory restored my iPhone 4 AT&T and it has no sim card so of course it needs to be activated, and I lost mine months ago, if I get my sister's sim card and put it in, then activate my phone, then put my sisters sim back in her phone will I be activated? Will her phone be affected? Zack, I'm not trying to get service I'm just trying to make it work, like an ipod touch.
