IPhone 4s can't slide to unlock?

Okay so a couple hours ago, all of the sudden I couldn't slide to unlock my phone. I use assistive touch because my power button stopped working a while ago as well, so I can't reset it either. I'm really frustrated because I can't seem to figure out how to fix it! Any suggestions?

The same thing happened to me before but my power button did work I held down the power button and home button and it turned off and went back to normal if your power button doesn't work or touch screen you should bring it to Apple and see if they can fix it I'm sure they can

According to an apple forums site 4S warranty is only valid for 12 months. Hmm not good.

take it to an electronics repair center. It's not cheap but it could be worth it. They should be able to fix basic issues.

or if they can't fix it maybe get a new, cheap phone. The decision's yours.

Apple I phones are a pile of junk. My 4s is 6 days old and it won't slide and it is my first apple phone. Had nokias most of my life and will be going back to them as soon as possible
