Iphone 4s dropped in toilet DX
So here's how the story goes.
My sister has (had) and iPhone 4s. Well, it went into the toilet.
At first the only problem was that the LED light wouldn't turn off, and there was no sound (except for when she made calls and the ringtones were working. But it wouldn't play music.)
So we put it in a bag of rice and hoped for the best. Well, it got worse.
Now the phone is saying there's no service, and won't hold a charge. The LED light went off, and the screen works fine and everything. But still no sound.
What can we do? Will Apple do anything like maybe trade it out for a refurbished one for an extra cost?
Or will we have to buy the phone outright? @_@ We have sprint, and are certainly not eligible for an upgrade yet. (also we have no warranty on the phone. But i didn't have a warranty on my i-pod and they still did something for me.)

Sweet.hopefully that cell phone had poo on it when you dropped it. That would be so freaking funny. By the way you can't fix your cell phone after it goes into water.

You are not gonna fix it you can rule that one right out! But apple are really great at helping people out, But i have gotta add it would not matter whether your phone had a warranty or not. The phone was involved in an accident it was not a manufacturing problem was it? So the warranty would not cover it even if it was in warranty.
Best bet is to buy one second hand of Ebay or try you luck with apple.
