Iphone 4S unlocked but it won't work?
I purchased an unlocked iPhone 4s AT&T its not stolen and it even has warranty but it won't work with Tmobile sim card. Has anyone else had this problem and how did you fix it.
It's not unlocked then. When unlocked, the phone will work with any SIM card including T-Mobile's. You should get it factory unlocked. You can mail this person (arghyle@rocketmail.com) who can help you get your phone factory unlocked.
It may have been unlocked via a jailbreak, and then updated. This would break the unlock. It probably wasn't factory unlocked.
- Will an unlocked iphone 4S work for tmobile if it isn't factory unlocked? I want to get an iPhone 4S and my friend has the iPhone 4 unlocked but i'm worried that if i get it non-factory unlocked it won't work. My uncle tried to do it a couple of months ago and apple said that if it was factory unlocked every time the phone shut off or died it would reset. I was just wondering if the same thing would happen if it wasn't factory unlocked? So if I get it unlocked everytime it will shut off it will reset? That is what i'm worried about.

- Unlocked my iphone from o2 but meteor sim card won't work? I unlocked my iphone from o2 the other day and it gave me instructions on how to set up the new sim card via itunes. I followed them but even though the phone says meteor in the top left corner of the screen it won't give me any bars for signal. Any ideas what could be the problem?
