IPhone 4S used with prepaid?
I have an iPhone 4S that is currently on a contract but is not being paid, am I able to use it with straight talk bring your own phone or AT&T go phone?
Which is the best option?
I don't want to lose my picture messaging either.

Depends on the iphone… If this is a ATT or Tmobile Iphone (GSM Iphone), then it can be used on Straight Talk or another GSM carrier… But never on a CDMA Carrier
If this is a CDMA Global Ready Iphone (Verizon, Sprint, Virgin Mobile), then it may be able to be used on Straight Talk… But never on a GSM carrier and definiately not on another CDMA carrier…
As for data (internet, data apps, MMS-pic messaging)… This requires the APN settings within the phone to be re-programmed to work on a different carrier… Sometimes it works… Sometimes it does not… Sometimes it lags/slow… Or is buggy or static… This is because the iphone your are using was not made nor programmed to work on this prepaid carrier. This is a fact of life and you will deal with it… Or… Don't flash to another carrier…

- What's a prepaid phone? Can IPhones be prepaid? I'm going to buy an IPhone 4 from my friend and i'm wondering if it can be prepaid? If so do I need anything like a sim chip? & It's not on contract… Or could I just go on a plan without being on a contract?
- Used Iphone 4 used for Wi-Fi only? I'm thinking about buying an iphone 4, but i plan on using my wi-fi instead of getting a plan. Will I be able to do this? I'm going to be buying the Iphone used. Please don't ask why not just buy an ipod, the person who is selling it to me is giving it at a good price. & also, the seller had at&t. If decide to activate the iphone will i have to activate it wity at&t?
- If i get a iphone 4 (used) can it be used like new? If I buy a used iPhone 4 will I be able to use it like its new and make a iTunes account get apps etc?
- If i buy a used iphone 4s can i activate it with verizon's prepaid plans? I'm a minor so i can't get a contract on my own, so i figured that a prepaid plan is the best option for me. Is there any sort of deposit or contract or credit check or anything like that? And is it one of those prepaid plans that you get on a card from walmart or something?
