Iphone 4s with straight talk?
So i've been researching and i've pretty much come to the conclusion that you can activate an iphone 4s with straight talk.
Can you buy an unlocked phone from apple or should i buy one from att. Although wtih att, a no contract iphone 4s cost the same as on the apple store so sould i just get it from apple. I don't want to pay the reduced price contracted iphone from att because i don't want to wait two years to switch over to att.
And if you can activate the iphone with straight talk do you really need to jail break it. Isn't jail breaking an apple device bad for it? I was going to go with virgin mobile but straight talk is cheaper and has way better coverage. Also people say virgin mobile got a "bad batch" of iphones so their not as good?
Thats why i want to buy the unlocked iphone from apple but it says in the fine print that the unlocked iphone 4s only works with GSM networks and not CDMA networks. Is straight talk a GSM network?
Sorry about the long question but id really like answers from people who use an iphone 4S with straight talk

The iPhone 4s unlocked directly from Apple is likely your best choice. You then install a Straight Talk SIM card and it will work. Be warned though, as the Straight Talk SIM uses T-Mobile, your internet speeds will be very slow (edge 2g)
Every iphone 4s can be unlocked via gevey sim. This is the only way to unlock it But only basebands 4.10 or lower.
- Why can't i send photos mms texts with my iphone 4 with straight talk as my carrier? Is there any setting i need to change or something specific i need to do to allow the photos to go through text messages the last couple of times i tried, it attempts but says there's an error. I have straight talk as my carrier. Can anyone help

- Unlocking iPhone 3G to Straight Talk? I've been trying to do this for free for a while. I have a SIM card that would work. I just tried unlocking it through UltraSn0w and it says Searching for a while and eventually no service. I've already jailbroken it. There should be service here as I get it on my other phone. How do I get this to work? I'm trying to use the SIM card from my current phone. Not one I just ordered.
