IPHONE 5: Charging is not supported with this accessory?

I literally got my iphone 5 a month ago and have had the same charger in which it has worked fine up until a couple days ago. I woke up to a 2% battery to see that my charger suddenly isn't supported with this accessory? Wtf?

The cable probably broke which made it output a different voltage/wattage/etc… Maybe the phone monitors the incoming electric current and doesn't charge because being charged by a different current to what its engineered to, might damage it…

… Youre better off buying a new cable or going to an apple store to see if they can get you a new adapter. Socket to usb.

Sounds like bad chord? Http://www.justtext.com/messageboards/20101225182447.html

I don't own an I phone but since its been charging fine for 5 months ask yourself, did you do any recent updates to the phone? Is it the charger that came with your phone or was it a replacement, did you try a different charger with a similar connector and did it say the same thing? Check manual that came w phone (if you don't have one, look on internet for manual for your brand and model # etc.) if you don't find or get an answer on this site, call the tech assistance that manages your phone (company that you pay your monthly bill to.) Good luck…
