IPhone 5 home button water damage?
I dropped my phone in my coffee a couple of weeks ago, the phone is fine except the home button doesn't work. I replaced the flex cable but still no luck, when ever I unplug the iPhone voice control comes up.
The button may need a quick spray with electrical contact cleaner just to clear of any dirt build up. With you saying voice control appears, it seems to be like the phone thinks the circuit is completed and pressed down permanently.
- My home button and lock button don't work on my iphone 4 Okay so about 2 weeks ago my lock button stopped working and I don't know why so I went to mts store and they said to go to the apple store and i haven't been able to go yet and then tonight I was on my phone then I went to eat dinner so i put it in my sweater pocket then after dinner i took my phone out and it wan't responding! Is there anything I can do right now other than going to an apple genius? It's like 9 at night!
- Is there an iPhone app to go to the home screen? My Home button isn't working well? IIm afraid my home button will completely stop working soon enough, and i don't currently have money to replace it. I really only need the home function, but it would be really nice if it also had a screenshot function (because screenshots need the home + lock combo) Edit: If it makes any difference, my phone is an iPhone 3GS (old, lol) and has iOS 6.1.6.
- Is the iphone 5s' home button bigger than te iPhone 4S home button? Need As soon as possible me and my brother are getting into a fight about it cuz he said he's going to change the 4s home button to the 5s home button
- Iphone water indicators not pink, still possible water damage? Hypothetically, if you got your iphone 4s wet, but the water indicators are not triggered at all, is it still possible the phone has water damage on the inside that apple would find if they took it apart?
