Iphone 5 is it locked on O2?
My dads bought a iphone 5 with contract on Vodafone but he wants my iPhone 4S instead then I can have the iphone 5! I'm on O2 I've used the phone 4 months so ill get my iPhone 4S unlocked so my dads Vodafone sim is accepted but I'm wondering whether I also have to get the iphone 5 unlocked so my O2 sim works! In it or does the phone come not locked on Vodafone?!

If bought from Vodaphone it is likely that the phone will be locked to that network. As you may know, you can test it by trying a SIM from a different network in the phone or, if that is not possible, you can try and ask Vodaphone themselves. Some network providers may unlock phones for free while others may charge a small fee.
99.999 certain it will be locked to Vodafone

you / your dad should be aware that All IP5 where ever they were bought will only ever be 3G on Vodafone and O2
All IP5 only have one 4G LTE band the 1800 MHz used by EE,
Both O2 & Vodafone launch 4G LTE services this year so when they are live as all IP ONLY have the EE band all IP5 are 3G on Vodafone & O2
Only Apple (ker ching) have released a 4G phone NOT 4G LTE READY
In both the March Vodafone & O2 magazine lots of 4G LTE READY (steady go) phones but NOT one mention of the most famous phone on the planet
A 4G LTE READY phone if unlocked can be used on ANY / All networks when 4G LTE arrived
IMO not the fault of the network re IP5, as why sell a phone once when you can sell it again.
no doubt the IP5S will be 4G LTE Ready

- Price of locked iphone 4 vs unlocked iphone 4? You could tell me oF any phone but make sure to tell me the percentage price difference of a phone locked to, say orange versus an unlocked phone.
- How to reboot an iPhone that's locked and has Find my iPhone mode turned on? I found an iPhone, and I want to reboot it. But I can't quite do that at the moment because "Find my iPhone" is on. And it says I need to turn it off before it can be rebooted. But since I found the phone… I don't know the password, so I'm not able to access anything. - How much should a icloud locked iPhone should be at least be selled at? It's a Iphone 6s plus? So I bought a Iphone today from this guy and when I end up resetting it, it was locked. And the dude said he can't do anything cause he didn't know and i don't know what to do with it. I read mostly everywhere you can't do anything with a locked phone and it's pretty much useless. Unless I find a way to unlock it.
- Forgot iPhone UserID & Password. IPhone is locked My friend restored his iPhone, when it turned on it asks for ID and password. He forgot both the ID and Password. (no point of resetting the credentials) He has the bill of purchase and the box, so would Apple Center unlock his device? (I read on internet that they won't unlock the device even if we have bill of purchase as a proof, Is this true? )
