IPhone 5 won't connect to newly installed Wi-Fi?

I know there are a ton of other forums revolving around this topic but I have not been able to find a solution to my problem. I have an iPhone 5 and I have recently moved and have a new internet set up. My phone will connect to public wi-fi and continues to connect to wi-fi at friends and family members homes. However, I can't get my iPhone to connect to my new internet. I have Time Warner Cable internet and a Netgear router is used for the wireless set up. My networks name comes up on my phone but my phone won't connect to it and under the DHCP, BootP, and Static columns everything is blank. I'm not tech savvy at all and have no clue what needs to be type in to be able to connect to my Wi-Fi. I have tried rebooting both my phone and routers and resetting my network already. Any information will help.

If you have access to the router (or to the router's admin) check the Wi-Fi security section and change it to use WPA2 and TKIP (encryption). For some reason there are tons of complaints about i-devices not being able to handle WPA2 and AES (the other encryption type).

Let us know how it goes.
