Iphone 5 won't let me sync with different Itunes?
I had the iphone 4 which had music from my old laptop and my new mac. I couldn't back up all the music i had from both laptops so i decided to try to sync with the old laptop and my new macbook, but now it's only possible to sync with one Itunes? Makes no sense. Iphone 4 allowed up to 5 different devices now with the brand new Iphone 5 it won't let you. Is there anyway I can sync both?
It has only ever been possible to sync music from one computer to an iDevice since the first iPods.
If you sync from one computer you will get the music from that computer, if you then sync with another cpu you'll get the music from that cpu. Click manually manage music (under the pictuere of the phone in iTunes) and then select all the songs you want to transfer in one go by clicking and holding ctrl to add them individually or shift to add a consecutive list of songs.
You can register or unregister 3 computers to use your iphone sync. With itune.
You can try using Home Sharing. This is about the only way I would think Apple still allows multiple devices to sync with iOS 6.
- Why won't my iTunes let me sync my songs? I have restarted my laptop, un-installed iTunes then reinstalled it again several times. And after I do any of them I will plug my iPhone 4S into the USB (with cable) port and it'll start syncing my music but then a notification will pop up and say my music can't be found. But all my music is still in the iTunes. I don't get it?
