IPhone 5 won't ring when a call comes in?
Can someone tell me how to fix this problem? It was working fine yesterday Thanks.
Is there a crescent moon icon at the top? If so, you have likely turned on the Do Not Disturb feature. To turn it off, swipe up from the bottom of your screen to the control menu and then click on the crescent moon icon (it will be highlighted if turned on, and will change color when you click it). Simple enough!
I had activated it accidentally a couple of times before I figured out what was going on. Now, I use the feature which does come in handy at times (I have a list of people it will not ring for, so if I do not want to be disturbed I can silence my phone but still get important calls).
- Will it show up as a missed call if i call someone by accident for half a ring? So I accidentally called my ex on his iphone, but I quickly realized my mistake and hung up after a half ring. Like you know how when you're calling someone it rings, I hung up after the first riiiing. My question is, will it show up on his phone as a missed call? I tested it out on 2 friends. One iphone 5 and iphone 4. They both told me they didn't get a call. Am I in the clear?
- Why won't the ring tone on my iPhone 4 work? I got my brand new iPhone 4 the other day and I keep trying to set a ring tone on it, and when I select the one I want and someone calls, it won't ring. It won't even vibrate when I put it on vibrate. Its brand new, never been used, so I don't think it could be broken. Maybe its on a weird setting. Either way, when someone calls or texts me, I won't know because I can't hear it.
- Why won't my iPhone 4 ring or light when it's locked? When it's unlocked, it rings, vibrates and i get the notification but when it's locked won't vibrate, ring, or light up.
- Phone will beep constantly after once ring when i dial for a call? I was trying to call someone, but after i dial it will ring once and then beep constantly. It isn't one or two beeps, it's ongoing. I have an iphone and my carrier is at&t. The person i'm trying to call has a samsung and i'm not sure of their carrier. Possibly verizon. Why is it doing that?
