Added (1). I JUST GOT THIS IPHONE. It's less than a month old. And today I dropped it from a very low height. I didn't think anything of it, because my previous iphone which was stolen from me, I had probably dropped at least 20 times without it every malfunctioning. When I went to pick it up, I was receiving calls and messages (alerts), but I couldn't see them because the screen was black. For a while there was a backlight and the screen was on, but black. I kept getting calls and messages I couldn't answ

I JUST GOT THIS IPHONE. It's less than a month old. And today I dropped it from a very low height. I didn't think anything of it, because my previous iphone which was stolen from me, I had probably dropped at least 20 times without it every malfunctioning. When I went to pick it up, I was receiving calls and messages (alerts), but I couldn't see them because the screen was black. For a while there was a backlight and the screen was on, but black. I kept getting calls and messages I couldn't answer. Then, it just went solid black like shut off with no backlight even. The messages and calls (which I had people make while I had the phone in front of me) no longer elicited any alert noise on my phone, but when I plugged it in the phone continuously vibrated. After some failed attempts at powering it off and on, pressing both the home and sleep buttons, it started to just make the "bong" sound characteristic of an iphone being plugged in every five seconds until I unplugged it. I haven't tried a factory restore, but it seems like it would just be useless and I'd rather see what an apple store could do with it before deleting all of my data. Anyone know what to do in the situation?
Also, if I take this into an apple store, will they just give me a new one since it's definitely still under warranty and it's most likely a hardware problem? Will I have to pay anything for it?

- Why is it that every time i lightly tap my iPhones power button it makes a rattle noise? I have an iPhone 5s and i don't know why its making a noise when i gently tap the power button. (Tapping it not pressing it) I've had the screen replaced twice and Maybe that's why? But i also had a very tight case on it maybe making it loose. I'm a drummer and I've found it quite entertaining to make false doorbells and iPhone notifications on the glockenspiel and other instruments during class to trick people into checking their phones and stuff. I think it would be fun to do the taco bell noise on the chimes. But I don't have an ear for pitches so maybe someone could tell me what is?
