IPhone 5c stuck in random reboot, never goes past lock screen?

This is so annoying and I'm finding NO answers online, no help from Apple either. I was on walk, iPhone in my pocket. After about half an hour of walking, I took my phone out, clicked the on button. My lockscreen appeared. I tried to type in my passcode but then suddenly the screen went black. It stayed like this for about one second and then the apple logo appeared. After this, the lock screen came back on. But now it has been in this constant loop for over a half hour.

The iPhone is NOT jailbroken. I've tried restarting the phone, holding down both the on/off button and the home button but it does nothing and this constant cycle continues. I've connected it to a charger, to my laptop, I've taken the sim card off. Nothing affects it at all.

This happened out of nowhere and I'm panicking. I have so much important stuff on this phone, including info inside downloaded apps that, if lost, I will lose a lot of information. Can somebody Please help me figure this problem out.

For now, I'm just waiting for the phone to die in hopes that when I charge it back up, it will be fine.

I'm not sure about your situation but today in school, iphone users were sending a text that shut down eachothers phones. Its called "effective power" with some arabic writing below it.
