The iPhone 5C uses the Apple A5 chip, which can also be found on the iPhone 5. The iPhone 5S uses the A7+ the M7 co-processor, which can also be found on the iPad Air.
The iPhone 5C comes in Pink, Yellow, Green, Blue and White. The iPhone 5S only comes in Gold, Space Grey, and White/Silver.
The 5C has a plastic back. The iPhone 5S has a glass/aluminum backing which is slightly less durable than the plastic backing.
