IPhone 5s battery drains fast? - 1
Ok so after the iOS update 7.1.2 which came out about 3-4 weeks ago my battery has been draining at a quicker pace than usual. At first i thought it was just because i hadn't charged it in a day or 2 so I plugged it up and left it to sit for about a day. Still goes doWn about 3-6% every 5 minutes when it usually goes down by that in double the time. I always close out background apps so i know that's not the issue.
In new smartphones like iphone we can't change battery so you should carry about that. There are some ways to do that: remove charger after charging on 100% and charge it when it's on low %, don't let it go to 0. Specialists say that optimal % for battery of iphone is 40-90. If your battery is ok, and you carry about it and it's still just getting uncharged faster, then make sure that you have turned off things like 3g, Wi-Fi, bluetooth. Also what makes iphone getting uncharged most, is brightness, i usually set it on 50% (little bit lower) and my friend always have on maximum. I always was thinking that my battery will run 2 times more then his one but numbers were different when we checked. When we were doing same things on iphones, his phone got uncharged in a day, same time my iphone was on 78%.
Also i recommend to download battery saver, it's free program in appstore, really useful, it will help you better then me, it will give advices and always remind you to turn off some things.

Whoever says get a galaxy - they're lying. My friend has a galaxy and it's ALWAYS dead. All iPhones do that. Buy a charger case, so you can charge it on the go. Works for my iphone.
Set it up as a new device, if that doesn't work schedule a repair with Apple.

Everything looks good except battery. it took about 2.5 hours to full charge, overnight it goes RED no SIM inserted and no usage just idle entire night, i upgraded IOS to 12.x still same issue. Please advice i like to retain this phone if battery issue is resolved otherwise return it.
