IPhone 5s screen cracked. Full phone replacement or just LCD and glass?
So I smashed my whole iPhone 5s. Not only is the glass cracked, but the LCD doesn't display any images. It lights up and when touched, it shows cracks in the LCD panel. My question is should I replace my whole phone? Or replace the glass and LCD. I don't want to end up paying money for replacement parts if it isn't going to fix it.
Summary: My glass and screen are cracked and the LCD doesn't display images- it lights up when turned on, but doesn't show anything. Should I replace the parts or the whole phone?
Just the glass
- What do I need to replace cracked front iphone 4 glass? Verizon. What is the LCD? The CDMA seems to be the Verizon phone. What is the LCD? Do i need my front glass to have that if I'm replacing it or will my iphone already have the old one for me to use? My boyfriend is helping me put the front glass on and he builds computers. Just not sure about the LCD
- Went to a repair shop for Iphone 6 screen and battery replacement and now screen is unresponsive and loose? Should I go back and have them fix it? The battery is fine but the screen response time is so bad and it lags which it didn't do before. Also they screwed in the screen bad. I can see into the phone bad. Will they fix it for free?

- Can you put a glass screen protector on an already cracked phone? I have a iPhone 7 plus with a hairline crack across the side and was wondering if a screen protector would still work to prevent further cracking
