IPhone 5s was dropped in water can it recover under these circumstances?

I dropped my iPhone in water and immediately after noticing that I left my phone in my pocket after getting in the water I powered it down and submerged it into a bag of rice. I left the phone there for 2 days and tried turning it on and it worked fine despite some screen discoloration, after a few hours of using the phone I turned it off and the next time I tried turning it on it did not work. I tried charging the phone for an hour and I still had no results and now I'm wondering if there's any hope in saving this phone or is it done for.

Let me think about it for a bit and then text me when you're ready for an answer.

If you can't turn it on, I think you can take it to Apple Store to ask help. Or you can directly switch to iPhone 6. You can easily restore your new iPhone with the backup files of the old iPhone with iTunes and iCloud. It is really easy to do that. If you don't want to restore the iPhone but just want some data from the old iPhone, you need to use Tipard iPhone Data Recovery. It can help you to recover data from iTunes/iCloud backup files easily.

  • Will I be able to recover these photos? (iPhone)? I have photos saved on my iphone 4 inside a privacy app. The phone is now broken and i can't get to them. I have backed up the phone to my computer, and I'm getting the iphone 5s. If i set up the new iphone to the backup of my old one (if i can even do that) will my pictures still be inside the privacy app?
  • What do i do if i dropped my iPhone in water and in under 24 hrs it still works? I dropped it in a bath for like almost 2 seconds and I turned it off, I put it in rice and waited like 10 hrs or so… It turned back on and works just fine.except my ear kind of hurts when I turn my phone on( which never happens when I turn my phone on) what does this mean

  • Water is stuck under my iPhone 5S Screen? I went swimming yesterday and I used a waterproof case. After I was done with my swim, I removed the case just to see if it actually worked in protecting my phone: it didn't. There were water droplets around the edges of my phone. And there was also some water stuck beneath my screen which looked weird when I was using my phone. I've switched it off and on once since then. The water just seems to be spreading more with time. What should I do?
