IPhone 6 photos don't fill screen?
I have an iPhone 6 and when I take pictures their are black edges on the top and bottom of the screen. It doesn't do this when I take photos in Snapchat. I'm just taking photos with my iPhone camera app. Any help?
That's normal. The iPhone photo format is different to the format of the screen and more closely resembles the screen proportions of the original smaller screen iPhones.
Making it take photos to cover the entire length of the screen would not only be an oddly-proportioned image, but woulf need the camera lens to cover a much larger "image circle". That would require a total re-design of the camera and lens to produce an image circle of that size and also a longer image sensor.
