Iphone 6 plus overcharged after a wile?

Hi guys i have a question. I have an iphone 6 plus and it had a cord that turned off after it charged then it broke. I use a timer now for the cord so it is on from 8pm-3am. If i do not use the timer to charge it will it eventually over charge?

IPhone's have a built in overcharge defender inside the battery, like nearly all phones. It will stop the current at 100% and once it goes down to 99% it allows the current through and repeats. If you are wondering if this is bad for the phone, it is NOT. People will tell you lies and lies and lies online. Every modern phone or a battery device has a built in over charge protector. Not an issue with iphones, I charge mine overnight always and have never had a problem
