IPhone accidentally restored?
Is there any way my pictures/contacts can come back? My phone accidentally reset and I can't do anything about it! I lost everything.
Not unless you made a backup before it happened.
Unfortunately, no:/ - that would pretty much trash the whole point of the 'reset' option on an iPhone.
Really not sure how you managed to accidentally reset it - what can we say? Be more careful in the future, and as the guy above said, back everything up.
Btw, if you have a Macbook, it'll be much easier. Sync your photos to iPhoto, intact you can have a photo gallery on the laptop now. Contacts can be synced too.
I think Apple has their own picture thing like Google does with photos. Do you know if you had any app that allowed you to save photos on the phone into the cloud. Like Amazon has Amazon photos Google has Google photos and I think Microsoft has a app to.
Only if you had a backup done somewhere you could restore to that
Had you already done a backup either to the iCloud or to iTunes on your computer. If so, simply restore the backup to your phone. If not, you are out of luck.

- IPhone restored as another iPhone Ok, so I tried to download some pics from iTunes to my mums iPhone. I haven't plugged it into iTunes before so when I tried it said 'Would you like to set up as new iPhone or restore as old iPhone'. I didn't know what that meant to I clicked on restore. Now, my mum's iPhone has restored as MY IPHONE! It also lost all the pics on hers. I just need to know if there's any way of undoing this.

Basically i tried to update to ios8 it extracts the software for nearly 1 hour and then at the end it says the iphone could not be restored. - If i restored my iphone, is there a way to revert to a previously saved version? I had a problem with my phone and the people at the apple store told me I had to restore my phone to a new version - I knew I'd lose my notes and pictures but wasn't aware I'd lose my contacts and calendar (no, i wasn't using icloud and didn't have them synced anywhere else). THe restore didn't fix the problem… So is there any way for me to "undo" the restore? Maybe restore from like a week ago's version?
