IPhone can't restore from backup?
My friend gave me a website to get ios7 early so I downloaded it ( i previously had ios 6.1.4). I didn't like ios7 so I downgraded back to ios 6.1.3 and it required me to restore my phone to factory settings, losing everything. I tried restoring from back up but a message popped up saying software to old set up iPhone as new and restore from backup. When I tired doing that my old phone name wasn't on the list of things I could backup from. Can anyone tell me what to do? I had some really important stuff on my phone that I didn't want to loose. How can I get my stuff back?
Yes I wanted iOS 7 too but then when I was watching videos on how to do it they said you won't be able to to restore your iPhone back to 6.1.3 / 6.1.4. You have to search the link that will downgrade you back to their because they told me you can't restore it back like that… Sorry I don't know the exact link
- When you restore an iphone from itunes backup does it restore messages? I need to restore my iPhone 4S in iTunes, will I lose my messages or will it leave the messages from my most recent back up?
- WHATSAPP BACKUP! Why can't i find the backup conversation button in chat settings? Hi, yesterday I had to reset my phone (IPhone 8 plus) to factory default and restore it to its last backup (April 15th). I also have an iPad mini, which everything is Synced. I got everything back on my phone (up to date) except my text messages. I'm not able to access my computer right now and have read you can get them back my backing up you messages to ICloud. Is there anything I can do to get them back on my phone (they are still on my iPad mini), without using my Mac?
- If i update my iphone 4 on new computer can i restore it after from a backup? I originally synced my dads iphone (business phone) with my macbook pro and we now have an imac and i need to update the phone on this computer (iMac) to ios 6. I did the backup and then i clicked update but it said "it will erase all data when you update'. If i click continue after the update can i restore the phone from the backup? If so how do i do this? It is crucial that i do this right because i can't loose my dads business info and contacts.
