IPhone charging problems (charging is not supported with this accessory?)?
With my last iPhone one day when I tried to charge it it said charging is not supported with this accessory. At first i thought it was the charger and replaced it and everything was fine. Then it started happening again except it charged my phone but really slow and eventually my iPhone would say charging not supported with this accessory no matter what charger I used and I could barley charge it. Now with my new iPhone it's said it. Now I don't want to charge my iPhone for fear of restarting the Cycle. What could be causing this? Is this charger broken? Or could it be the outlet?
It usually happens to me too but not in a cycle, it happens if i don't plug the charger in properly or if the outlet is faulty. I use an apple charger in a 230V, 50Hz outlet.
- Why is iphone saying charging not supported with this accessory? It worked fine last night. Same wire. It only happens when I connect it to the computer which I did last night.
- Why does my iphone shows that charging is not supported with this accessory? I think I had my phone plugged in to my laptop for more than 2 hours and it hasn't charged fully. It's like 32 percent charged since I plugge it in. And now it says the above question. I don't know why?
- Why does my iPhone 3 say 'Charging not supported with this accessory'? So recently my ipod got stolen, and my friend decided to give me her old iphone 3 to use instead. I used my old ipod charger with it, and it worked but then i updated the software to iOS 6.1.6 and it wouldn't charge in an outlet anymore, it is only able to charge when i connect it to my computer. I already searched online about this and someone said to put the phone onto airplane mode then charge it in an outlet but that didn't work. Any suggestions?
