Iphone for Straight Talk
So my contract with Verizon is about to expire and i would like an iphone. Personally, i want to switch to straight talk (good reception in the city i live in) because its $45 a month for unlimited. I want an iPhone, but it costs a ton of money with Straight Talk. Is there a way i can purchase a different iPhone (maybe from Amazon linke to Verizon or AT&T) and just use that with straight talk, or will they not allow that?
Any help is appreciated. If you have another idea that would be awesome too! I'm about to leave for college too if that helps?
To get a an iPhone from Verizon or AT&T at the discounted/contract price, you have to sign up for a 2-year contract. You will then have to pay their monthly fees. If you stop paying, the phone will be blacklisted and useless with any wireless company.
You can get a 2 year contract like covato said or you can buy one from another company and see if they can flash it for you but before you spend tons on the iphone go to a straight talk company and ask them if they flash phones. If they say no then you'll just have to get it straight from their company

- Why can't i send photos mms texts with my iphone 4 with straight talk as my carrier? Is there any setting i need to change or something specific i need to do to allow the photos to go through text messages the last couple of times i tried, it attempts but says there's an error. I have straight talk as my carrier. Can anyone help

- Unlocking iPhone 3G to Straight Talk? I've been trying to do this for free for a while. I have a SIM card that would work. I just tried unlocking it through UltraSn0w and it says Searching for a while and eventually no service. I've already jailbroken it. There should be service here as I get it on my other phone. How do I get this to work? I'm trying to use the SIM card from my current phone. Not one I just ordered.
