IPhone Four stuck in reboot loop?
Please help me. I switched carriers the other day so I had to switch from my Android (which I never had a problem with) to an iPhone 4, because it was free on this carrier. I had it for a day and thought it was awesome, but woke up yesterday morning and saw that I could update to iOs 6. I thought I'd go for it, but it was taking a really long time, and we were soon leaving the house. There were like 300 more MB to go and I didn't wanna rack up data charges so I stopped it. It sounds stupid because it is, but I was super tired and thought nothing of it. I tried turning it on but it was stuck in a permanent loop where it would show the Apple logo and then fade out, then show the Apple logo, then fade out, and so on and so forth. So finally I got home last night at about 9ish at night, and I googled the problem, and after about an hour I found a solution, so I plugged the phone into my computer and it started restoring. It had an hour and a half left, and I had nothing to do so I went to bed. I woke up this morning, eager to have my phone back to working order, and checked the computer, which said it was done restoring. I unlpugged the phone and turned it on, only to discover it was stuck in that same loop. I really need some help. This stupid thing has been more trouble than help and I'm a heartbeat away from throwing it in the trash. I never had these sorts of problems with my Android phone. So if anybody can help me that would be great, cause I would love to actually like this phone, but so far I haven't had much of a chance. Thank you.
Added (1). Thank you very much for answering, but nothing really happened. Its just doing the same old thing.
Hold your lock button and home button in at the same time until it looks like its restarting.
Try restoring it again from a different computer if you can, then reinstall from backup. Failing that, hold down the on/ off button and the home button at the same time (whilst its connected to itunes) until the logo reappears. I had the same hassle with mine. It was taking so long to install the software i assumed my device or itunes had frozen, so i decided to disconnect it and try again later. Big mistake. It rendered my iphone useless, and wouldn't restore either. So, on hubby's advice, i restored it from a different computer, then when that was complete, i disconnected then reconnected my device to my original device and reinstalled from there (fortunately it had been backed up beforehand). It worked, all my info was restored back on my iphone, and 10s 6 was installed without a hitch. It's been working perfectly ever since. I love my iphone 4s, and it is genuinely a wonderful phone. Which i'm sure you'll get used to once your issue is resolved. But it does unfortunately suffer glitches occasionally - Particularly when software updates occur - Which can tempt you to throw the device out of the nearest window. Especially if it's a new phone, and you were content with your previous android (equally good phone by the way. Even i've been drawn by the Samsung SIII!) Good luck, but this should resolve any issues. Restarting the pc beforehand my help. (Unplug completely from mains, then plugging in again after a couple of minutes. Handy tip from tech guy!)

- My iPhone is stuck on the reboot logo while jailbreaking? Device: iPhone 4s Software: iOS 7.0 I was jailbreaking iOS 7 w/ evasion for my phone. The third reboot came up and after a short period of time the apple logo appeared it has stayed there for 8 hours. There's no way I can connect it to my computer because it does not read that the device is there because the device has not fully rebooted. Should I smash the device and use its warranty? Or Do you have a simpler solution?
