Iphone not charging properly? - 1

So recently my iphone charging cable wouldn't fit into the port properly. I looked online and said there could be dirt in the port. I brushed it, and the cable fit a bit better but still not properly. My iPhone was able to charge but only after spending 10 mins putting it into a specific position. Now my iPhone has died and I don't know what the position is to charge. What should I do?

Also when mine start acting like that sometimes charging it when it's off is the only way it'll work, so I'd say leave it plugged in for a while and see if it will turn back on. I've only had my phone for a few weeks- since Christmas, and today it's been playing up, it keeps turning on and off then when my phone is on the screen at the bottom flickers! I have never dropped this phone or it hasn't been water damaged! I resorted my phone by pressing the lock and home screen and put it on charge, my charge percentage isn't going up it keeps decreasing, even though it says that my phone is on charge, what should I do?
  • Is my iphone 5s charging properly? Everybody I talk to says it shouldn't take longer than an hour to charge fully. Mine seems to be taking longer. For instance, I was at 20% at 740pm. Just called up apple and found out the answer, decided to share it with the world to keep your sound systems safe. If your charge your ipod touch or Iphone, Have it unplugged from your sound system. Cheers. kind of agree with you man, But my logitech z5500 system is like $1000 new right now… Insane, don't want to take a chance. But your probably right.
  • IPhone5 screen won't respond properly when charging? A couple months ago I dropped my iPhone 5 in the toilet, but I got it out quickly and keep it in a bag of rice. Everything worked fine, but recently the screen is not reponding properly when I charged. But once I stopped charging everything works perfectly, what could be causing the problem?
