IPhone only works when on wall charger? (details)?
About 4 months ago, I dropped my iPhone 4 in water, and it died. It wouldn't turn on, even after days in rice. I put it on the charger for a full week, but nothing happened. Recently, I saw the corpse of my iPhone in a drawer and just stuck it on a charger. To my delight, it turned on and seemed to be working. I typed in my passcode, and came to a screen which told me to connect my phone to iTunes so that I could activate it. As soon as I unplugged the phone (which was at 97% battery), it died. I figured, it would revive once I connected it to my computer, but it didn't. Why does it turn on when connected to the wall, but not my computer? Do you have any idea of how to get my phone to turn on when attached to my computer? Also, is this a battery problem? If so, how should I go about replacing it?
The water shorted out the battery and it needs to be replaced.

So, I have a water damaged iphone 4s that works perfectly fine, except for the fact that it only turns on when it is connected to a power outlet. The screen works fine when connected and I can access menus and videos and such, but when I unplug it, it immediately turns off. I already changed the battery from another iphone to this one, but it still does the same thing. Anyone know what to do?
- My iPhone won't turn on unless its plugged into a wall charger? My first issue is, my phone won't turn on unless its plugged into the wall. When it finally turns on after being plugged in it tells me my phone needs to be restored and that it can't make or receive calls until so, well great but, when i unplug it from the wall it immediately turns off and will not turn on when plugged into my computer. I've tried different USB cables but none of them work.

I tried the wall charger and it would only charge for like a second.same with the usb charger. I don't have time to buy anything at the moment i just need instructions, please.
- My iPhone will not charge via wall charger? I have an iPhone 4S that will not charge via the Apple Wall Charger. I took it to my local Sprint store and the guy there said it is the cord and he could sell me a new cord, then later I took, it to the Mall of America Apple Store and they said it is the device itself. I have already tried a reset (to no success ) and am doing a restore, what other suggestions do you have?
