IPhone screen is black but Siri works?
I was on the internet and my home button stopped working. I have the Assistive Touch button so I tried going to my home screen through that but it still didn't work. I used the Assistive Touch button to turn off my phone and now I can't turn my phone back on. Siri works if you hold the home button down. My off button hasn't worked in a half year.
I honestly don't know what's wrong with it lol did you ask siri lol jk. But have you ben dropping it a lot or dropped it in water sorry i don't know
This is an old post, but in case anyone needs to know, I do not know what to do about it, BUT as long as siri works, you can still use the phone until you are able to have it fixed. You can ask siri to "read text messages" or "read messages" and she will tell you who it was and what it said (if you have more than 1 text, sometimes you have to keep asking her before she will read the other one) and she will ask if you want to reply and you can say yes and then when she asks, tell her what you want the text to say, and she will ask if it's ok to send, but you can't see it, so you can ask her to read it back to you and she will, then you can tell her to send it. With calls, you just have to tell her to call whoever you want.
I have the exact same problem right now did you find how to fix it or do I have to get new one?

Ask siri to call someone I had the same problem and accidently called someone and the screen just came back on. Don't ask me how or why it just worked for me.
The thing is the lock button is stuck for me
- Spilled water on my iphone 4 the screen is completely black but everything else still works? I can answer phone calls and unlock my phone by memory of were everythings at. It recognizes touch and the sound works fine. It just the screen is black. If anyone has ever had this happened and fixed there's please tell me how i need to get this fixed as soon as possible

The only way i can get it to work is to bend my phone until the screen starts to work again(it still "works" it's just the screen is black, and i know that it works because i can unlock it even when the screen is black and i here the unlock sound) , it will go back black at least once a day. Okay so I have the iPhone 5 it's getting kinda old and worn out I need to replace it soon but anyways I tried recording a video to put on Instagram and their was no sound? I tried recording a video just in my camera roll still no sound even in snap chats? I find it odd because I can still talk to Siri and I can still talk on the phone just when I record videos it won't pick up sound? Any idea why?
