IPhone space being used up when I'm not doing anything?

So, I just checked my usage thing, 'cause my dad says that my phon is the one that's the problem, when everyone in my family has tons of games on their phones and thousands of pictures (literally) and I only have solitaire and like 180 pictures, I just deleted all my texts too, but it says that texts has used up 5 gigabytes?! And music has only used two! (I have at least 800 songs and iCloud won't let me get rid of these weird songs that keep piping up that I don't know) how do I get rid of whatever is making my texts (which I rarely use as well) use so much space and the random music in iCloud, thank you.

So is the problem your phone doesn't have enough storage space or that it used too much data? I'm assuming the latter since how full your phone is shouldn't affect your dad whatsoever. In that case how much music or texts you have makes no difference. Likely it's you've used too much data, like Internet, email, or apps or even sending and receiving texts. If your phone is the culprit, you can try backing it up then doing a restore. You could also turn off iCloud entirely.
