IPhone taking up 6.8 GB for only 214 pictures?
I have an iPhone, and I only have 177 photos and 33 videos on my phone. Yet, this is taking up 6.8 GB and I don't know why! I only have 2 GB left where my sister has 1,000 photos and she still have storage. I don't understand why this is happening, I've checked every single on of my apps and albums and everything and there isn't any hidden photos that are taking up my space. At first, I thought it might be because I had accidentally synced a movie and a TV show episode onto my phone, cause they are in my videos section, and I tried to get rid of them but every time I synced with iTunes it said there was no movie or episode on my phone. Also, when I clicked on the movie, there was that cloud icon with the arrow, and when I clicked on it, it said there wasn't enough storage to download the movie. Does that mean the movie is on my phone?

Added (1). Sorry, I meant 210 photos.
That's 31 MB per picture. You must be taking them at maximum resolution. There's probably an iPhone app that can convert them to lower resolution, and convert raw files to jpg if they are not jpg.
214 pictures would not even take up 1 GB.
Go to Setting->General-> Usage to check the iPhone usage. First, check your iTunes library, when your iPhone sync failed with iTunes, there are lots of sync-failed files. Second, clean up your iPhone cache files and documents, some app like Facebook, Instagram.

Basically I have an iphone 3 and before the camera worked fine but now when i load it it takes ages for the grey shutter to open than usual and then when i press the take picture it just goes back to the grey shutter and then reopens after like 30 seconds. A couple months ago I got my Iphone 4s fixed and the only thing that got deleted on it was my photos and it still said it was taking up 8 GB and now I wanna update to IOS7 but I don't have enough space and I only have 200 photos and it says its taking up 8GB how do I fix this?
