Iphone transfer to Prepaid phone?
I want an iphone on a pre paid carrier. Preferably at&t pre paid cause they have good coverage. The iphone will be used. Is it possible? Should I buy a verizon, sprint, or an at&t phone to make it easier? How hard is this process?
Yes you can do that. The easiest is to buy an AT&T iPhone since you wouldn't need to get it unlocked to make it work, and you can buy any model of iPhone from the 5 on down.
If you buy a Verizon or Sprint phone, first, you can only use the iPhone 5 from Verizon since it is unlocked and has the GSM radio and SIM card slot. Sprint iPhones and Verizon iPhones (except for the 5 on Verizon) are all carrier locked and even if you unlock them, they only will be carrier unlocked for international use, not local carriers.
So in other words, best bet is to get an AT&T iPhone.
