IPhone with Verizon Wireless? - 1
My mom finally agreed to get me an iPhone, but said the only ones that were around $99 needed a whole new contract. We already have a family plan with Verizon Wireless, with unlimited texting and whatnot. Does anyone know where I can get an iPhone that ISN'T $500 without signing up for a whole new contract?
You would have to buy a used one on eBay, cowboom, etc. Make sure it's a *Verizon* iPhone (iPhones for other phone companies like AT&T or Sprint won't work), and make sure the seller promises it has a "clean ESN" (sometimes ESN is called IMEI but it's the same idea). The ESN is the phone's ID on Verizon's network. Lost and stolen phones have a bad ESN and can't be activated.
