Is 20GB of Internet data enough?

I just brought a new iPhone and the only package available on EE was one with 20GB of Internet.
I will only have this for each month, I'm just worried about going over it.
If I'm connected to Wi-Fi does it charge? Or is it only when I'm roaming with my 4G on?
I don't tend to download videos or music as I have apps like YouTube and spotify. I do however keep my 4G on whilst at school until I get home, which is about 6 hours a day.
Am I going to have to start turning my data off or should I be ok?

You should be okay. Just don't play ANY YouTube videos on 4G only on Wi-Fi.

20gigs only applies to 4g plan servicee not Wi-Fi. With 20 gigs you could watch a movie every day and not run over. Most in the US only use 2-6 a month on average. Best luck.

  • Is 40GB internet allowance per month enough for my household? In my house we have two laptops and two iPhones which are connected to the BT Home Hub. My brother and I browse the internet, we don't download games and rarely download applications (unless it's from the apple app store for my MacBook). Our browsing is quite heavy-use though. I'd say I spend around an hour every night on my laptop, and my brother spends around four hours. WIll 40GB be enough?
