Is asurion or Verizon in Malaysia?
My friend has an iPhone he's selling on eBay, but the iPhone is stolen, from himself. He has Verizon and full insurance on the phone for if he loses it and he cracked it and didn't wanna lose $200 to fix the screen so he said that he lost it and really kept it and is selling it on eBay with cracked screen and bad esn. But he received an offer of $650 if he would ship to Malaysia, but that much money had him overthinking. Is this going to be a trap? Will someone check his address and the imei of the phone and get him for fraud?
If it's stolen and he sells it, he can be arrested for fraud. It becomes a federal crime once it crosses state or country lines. He is an idiot trying to sell a stolen, locked phone on Ebay
All the person in Malaysia has to do is call their local police who calls the police in the city where your friend lives, and your friend is arrested

- Will any Verizon SIM card work in an Verizon iPhone 4S? I had recently acquired an iPhone 4S from an old friend. I was wondering if I could buy a cheap Verizon phone with a pay as you go plan, and remove the SIM from the cheap phone, cut it down to a Micro-SIM, and place it in my new iPhone.

- Where can I look for AppleCare Protection Plan for my iPhone in Malaysia? The warranty of my 5S will end some time around December 2014 and I have the intention to extend the coverage. I'm aware that AppleCare for iPhone is not available in Malaysia but is it possible for me to purchase the plan from Australia and register the ACPP agreement onto my iPhone? It seems to be possible to me but what I'm worried about is, will the Australian ACPP be compatible to my iPhone that was bought in Malaysia?
