Is i drop my iphone 5s in water what will happen?
I'm always scared that I will drop my phone in water but some people say that it will be ok if I drop it in water and that it is partially waterproof? If i do drop it in water or a liquid what could i do and what will happen to my phone, will I need to pay for it to be fixed?
Luckily you've got the 5s, the s stands for waterproof.
As long as the water is clear it will be fine, the problem comes if you drop it into something coloured, because then apple thinks your trying to make a 5c without paying them a fortune and have built in a self destruct panel.
It will be damaged and most likely break. It isn't waterproof. The only waterproof phone there's right now is the Sony Xperia Z.
As long as you carry a microwave with you, because if you do drop in water quickly microwaving for 5 or 10 minutes may do the trick.

Immediately switched it off, dried it and put it in a bag of rice. This was at about 6 p.m yesterday. This morning without turning it on I opened up the sim compartment to check the circle for water damage (checked online and apparently this is where to check for water damage). The indicator was white. It is back in the rice but I was wondering - when you think it will be ok to turn back on?
