Is ios 7 automaticaly downloaded onto iphone 5?
I'm getting a new phone tommorow and i have att so i was wondering if it already has ios 7 on it, or do i have to download it. If so, where do i download it?

I think the i07 update comes out in the fall, but when it does you can definitely get it updated on your iPhone 5
I'm almost positive that it won't have it yet. It comes out to everyone in the fall. When it is released your phone will ask if you would like to make the update. (Looks like txt alert)
IOS 7 is currently in beta, and you can only download it with an Apple Developer account. The full version is expected to be released in September for free, so it will not be on the phone when you buy it at this point and will have to wait to update it.
No, you'll get notified when the update is available for your phone. You'll have to go to Settings, click on General, then you'll see Software Update. If an update is available you'd see a number next to it then you'd click on Software Update like I said before and click on "Update" in order to get ios 7. You won't just wake up with it downloaded though.

IOS 7 won't be released to the public until the fall, but you can install it early if you register your device's UDID with a developer account through a site like http://www.udid.in/.It's $5, and then you can try out the new OS before everyone else. That's how I got it on my 4S.
