We aren't in 2015 yet. Its still good, but by 2015 you may be able to get 5C free on 2 year contract, just like 4S today, so it may phase out. Although they may have a new phone the same size as 4S, because I'm guessing they will want to keep that screen size, some like the smaller screens for carrying in pocket etc.
