S3 is better than iphone 5. But consider buying a phone better than S3.It is Optimus G. It has all of the best features that any phone presently has. It has the best ui covered to android 4.0.4 compared with touchwiz ui. More clearly:- optimus ui is better than touchwiz ui. Have look at the comparison of s3(+touchwiz) and Optimus G(+optimus ui)

No the Iphone 5 in no way is better than the Galaxy S3 or any other Android. There's not even any new features except for a small charger, and its not at big. Also they said there's many new updates for it. The new updates that will be on the new Iphone 5, will be available on the Iphone 4S in future updates. Don't get the Iphone 5.It's just like the Iphone 4S, except there will be more fees, and it will cost more to get the phone. Now about Androids. The android's app storee, unlike the apple app store, can get free apps that are paid apps on the apple app store. Plus there's many other many things too. Like you can get a lot of songs for free. So in conclusion, do not get the Iphone 5, its just a waist of money.
IPhone is more flawless when it comes to web browsing, gs3 lags too much for my opinion.
