Is it still good to get an iphone 5s today?
I'm answering this question using an iPhone 5S. Why would you think it's not worth it to get one? They work just as well as they did when they came out (and that was only last year) and support the latest iOS.
Why would a new iPhone make the next newest iPhone somehow worthless? (Though your question should have been more specific about how much you're being asked to fork over - the "it" in "worth it"). I got my iPhone on sale last spring when Verizon sold them for what they're selling the 5s now n

Honestly, all iPhones do basically the same thing. The iPhone 6 just came out so the iPhone 5s is still popular.

- Would an iphone 1 or 2 still work today? I'm looking to replace my phone. Right now I've got an Android HTC Inspire and it's cool, but it restarts itself like every hour and I think it's dying. I don't use it as a phone for calls. I just took the SIM card out of mine. I use it to check email, use the gameboy emulators on it, and search the internet on it. Would I still be able to use those things on an older model iphone?
