Is it okay to update Iphone4 to iOS 9.0.2? - 1

Added (1). I don't know much about Iphones but i have read sometimes it wrecks the phones? Has anyone else updated their Iphone4?

You can't. The last firmware supported on the iPhone 4 is iOS 7.1.2.

The 4S can go to iOS 9 but with an older phone the slower processor can't always handle the latest iOS version.

I've upgraded my iPhone 5 to the iOS 9.0.2 and nothing has messed up on mine. But make sure to back up your phone before just in case anything does get deleted.

That's not even possible. The iPhone 4 only goes up to iOS 7.1.2.

  • Update stopped during ios update own iphone now phones broke I connected my iPhone 4 to my computer (iTunes) and started doing the update through iTunes. About five minutes into the update iTunes in my computer stops working, causing the update to of course stop working. Now my phone will not turn on. On the screen it is black with the 'charge symbol' as if it were low on battery and an iTunes symbol. I have tried turning my phone off and on, but of course it didn't respond.
  • New iOS 6 update, find my iPhone update? I don't like the new find my iPhone update is there a way to change back to the old find my iPhone but keep the new update? It's not showing locations like it used to and won't even how me major boroughs like Croydon. Streets are difficult to see, much smaller picture. General *** compared to the older version.
  • Is this iOS 6.1.2 okay to install? I was on my iPhone 4S the other day and saw the iOS 6.1.1 and saw where owners of the 4S were saying how it decreases battery. So now I see 6.1.2 where it says it fixes it. Do I need to just keep iOS 6? Or go to 6.1.2 because I never updated to 1.1
  • Is the iOS 6.1 update on iPhone 3 safe to update? On my first iPhone there were problems, and the update didn't help it wiped out everything and among other things had to get a new iPhone. The iPhone I have now works, so should I risk this update? It's a 3GS.
