Is it possible to receive Group SMS Messages from an iphone on my droid?

Everyone I know seems to have an iPhone, and they have the ability to send and receive group SMS messages in a single thread. Every recipient sees who's included the thread and they "Reply all" to each message. My droid however splits all texts into individal threads so I can never "Reply to all." I also have no way of seeing whose included in the group at the time.

Group texting apps do not help as no one else uses them (they just use their iphone's standard texting app). These apps also force you to pre make groups. Group texts change daily depending on who should be included so I have no way of makeing adequate preset groups.

Does anyone have any ideas for how to keep these group texts in one thread?

Only if you have the iphone app, but for droid, or you could use your computer on an sms. Or possibly you could just send a txt message.

  • Why does my iPhone receive messages late when I'm in a group text? I have the iPhone 4s with 16g (I have less than a gig left of space) and am on T-Mobile. Every single time I'm added to a new group text, my phone delays all messages sent to me. Regardless of whether it's another iPhone or if they're on the same carrier as me, none of my messages get to me until an hour or so later. Is it because I'm low on space? Or is it T-Mobile (probably the worst carrier I've ever had by the way)? Or is it the iPhone software?
  • Why does my iphone not receive group messages unless 4g is on? When I'm at home and I'm using Wi-Fi I always turn off cellular data because I don't want to accidentally be using up my data, but whenever it is off I never receive group messages until I turn it back on? Why does it so this and can I make it so I can still receive group messages when only using Wi-Fi?
  • Why can't my iPhone receive SMS messages on 3G? I have a 3GS which has just started having issues with 3G connection. It refuses to receive SMS messages, but I'm able to send them. I have tried to reset network settings, turn off iMessage, restart numerous times to no avail. The only way I can make it work is to turn off 3G, turn the phone off and on which allows SMS to be received. Am I missing something obvious as to why it's having a mini meltdown?
  • My photos are not sending in group messages, but are sending in individual messages? I'm with Straight Talk Wireless. At first my pictures were sending in the group message but now they are not. I don't know what's wrong, all my settings are what they are suppose to be, and I'm currently on an iPhone 5s IOS 8.4.
