You can call walmart and ask since I'm sure pricing varies at walmarts across the country. I don't see why it wouldn't be a good buy

According to the website, it looks like there's a sale on it (probably a Labor Day sale). I don't see any reason it would be a bad idea to buy it at Walmart, but keep in mind that the new iPhone will probably come out within the next month or so.
Walmart sells phones for regular carriers so you would probably deal with that carrier if an issue arose, and the Apple warranty would still apply. I'm not sure if Walmart would offer any additional warranties, I'm pretty sure that's the only difference.
