Is it worth getting an iPhone? - 2

Considering getting iPhone 5 or 5s.

Sure isn't, there are plenty of better phones for cheaper so why bother

To me, I'm an Apple fan, so YEAH YOU SHOULD GET YOURSELF AN IPHONE 5 or 5s! But it is also true that other phones are, not better, but they have something that iPhone doesn't and iPhone got something they don't.

No, the world is now gearing toward galaxys as best cell phone.

You either really like them or you really don't but you won't know until you try! It all comes down to what you like. Just because a lot of people have them, doesn't mean you need one too! Don't get me wrong, love iPhones but I also love android. All comes down to what suits you!

Hope this helps.

Absolutely.

Don't look at the phone for what it is now, look at it for what it will be in two, three or four years.

The detractors say that iPhones are too expensive and behind the times… I say hogwash.

Yes, the iPhone 5 and 5S were not revolutionary devices… But that's great, that means I can keep my three year old iPhone 4 for another year. With iOS7 updating it next week. By not obsoleting the product, you can keep it longer which means it will be cheaper in the long run. Even if you only want to keep it for two years, simply sell it and you will get back more than the difference in price between it and the cheaper phone you were considering.

The only way Apple is beind the times is by not buying into fad features which either don't work because they are unsupported or glitchy, or detract from other areas like having a huge screen makes a bulky phone (playing games and watching movies on a phone was a novelty at one time, now I have my iPad) or things like Flash which kill battery life.

Its may be but In my opinion, an Android phones are proved to be around 2 years ahead in technology compared to iPhone. I would advise you to get a good, but not cheap android phone.
