Is it worth getting an iPhone 4/4s now?

The contract for my phone runs out on the 5th of August and I've been looking at getting a a iPhone 4/4s. However the iPhone 5 is coming out next month and, although it'll be too expensive for me, I'm guessing it will push the prices down of the 4/4s.

Is it worth waiting for the release or will the price drop take too long/not be that much anyway?

With your contract up your new one could be a 2 year deal bringing it down to $200. Or you can wait and the price will drop. (plus depending on your contract and carrier you may be elligable for a full/partial upgrade towards the 4S).

Wait trust me you'll save a lot of money.

Nope. Get an android. Is cheaper and better

No, don't get an iPhone now…
lot better phones in the market wid a lot bigger screens!

No

The price paid or tariffs commanded (no demanded) by iPhones…
iPhones on any every network defy logic and gravity.

With the iPhone4 and iPhone4S both costing MORE THAN the SGS3 (I9300)
and… Both the IP4 and IP4S NOT even comparable to the SGS 2 (I9100), the IP4 came out in June 2010 now ONLY available in 8Gb in August 2014, noting Quad Core are available will the IP4 be the must have phone… Unlikely

The SGS II The multi award winning smartphone in 2011 is (was) the Samsung the Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100. No other phone including the IP4S has won more awards

On 12/09/2012 even if the IP5 specs were confirmed as an exact match to the SGS 3 the would NOT have the same tariff,

Here side by side is the IP4s and SGS 2 specification and comprehensive and impartial review
which should be read but each review can be seen on pages 1 of each
